dc.description.abstract	The study sought to analyse teachers' level of knowledge, attitude and preventive practices in relation to HIV/AIDS in Petauke district in the eastern province of Zambia. The study sought to determine whether teachers were well informed about HIV/AIDS, had no discriminative behaviours towards HIV/AIDS-affected people, and finally whether their preventive practices were good in relation to HIV/AIDS. The major inferences drawn from this study are that teachers are well informed about HIV/AIDS and that their attitudes are mostly non-discriminative. Preventive practices were found to be good but contradictory to the reality on the ground.	en
