More than half (52%) of the respondents indicated that they searched for academic-related information. Library users visited the Polokwane City Public Library to access and acquire information since the library had an array of information services at its disposal that could be used by anyone. More than a quarter (42%) of the respondents stated that they hardly accessed online information due to a lack of internet connection. The study recommended that the library should improve its internet connectivity, and the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture (DSAC) should procure new and modern technologies to replace the old ones. The Polokwane Municipality should provide the Polokwane City Public Library with enough funds to purchase affordable materials to meet the information needs of library users. en_US
