End-user computing is becoming an issue of strategic importance in the computer industry today. We have seen many organizations implementing end-user computing according to the guidelines as included in conventional software development methodologies. Concepts such as productivity, control, management, quality and costs all play an important role in defining a methodology for the management of end-user computing. It is the objective of this paper to outline practical issues in compiling a customized methodology for the management of end-user computing. |
