The researcher conducted a study titled: “Rethink the pathways to all learning areas in Primary Schools, in the Chris Hani District, Eastern Cape.”
The researcher is passionate about learners’ development and cognitive growth in the Foundation Phase of the primary schools in and around Komani in the Eastern Cape Province. Understanding the pathways in today's cognitive, visual, audio-visual, and physical development of early childhood needs to be become a priority.
The researcher questioned the development of reading and learning pathways in today’s inclusive education primary schools. The possibility of the differences between today's reading, learning and mathematic methods and past methods are concerns in the current classrooms. The researcher will investigate the activation of the pathways or receptors needed for the primary school learner's cognitive development. Through the need the researcher will aim at creating opportunities to address the methods to activate cognitive development pathways in today's education.
The researcher introduces new methods through senses to activate curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking as keys to unlock education’s door in the modern world.
Die navorser fokus tydens die studie op onderrig metodes in die Laerskool. Die titel: "Herdink die leerpaaie na alle leerareas in laerskole, in die Chris Hani Distrik, Oos-Kaap."
Die navorser is passievol oor leerders se ontwikkeling en kognitiewe groei in die grondslagfase van die laerskole in en om Komani in die Oos-Kaapprovinsie. Om die wee in vandag se kognitiewe, visuele, oudiovisuele en fisiese ontwikkeling van leerders te verstaan, vroeë kinderjare moet 'n prioriteit word; nie net in die studie nie maar ook in elke laerskool in Suid Afrika.
Daarom het die navorser die ontwikkeling van lees- en leerpaaie in vandag se inklusiewe onderwys laerskole bevraagteken. Die verskille tussen lees-, leer- en wiskundemetodes van vorige metodes is beslis ‘n kommer in die huidige klaskamers en moontlikhede vir metodes wat kan werk word ondersoek en voorgestel. Die navorser het die aktivering van die wee of reseptore wat nodig is vir die laerskoolleerder se kognitiewe ontwikkeling ondersoek. Deur die behoefte sal die navorser daarna streef om geleenthede te skep om die metodes aan te spreek om kognitiewe ontwikkelingsweë in vandag se onderwys te aktiveer. Die navorser stel nuwe metodes bekend waar sintuie gebruik word om nuuskierigheid, kreatiwiteit en kritiese denke as sleutels in onderrig se deur in die moderne wêreld oop te sluit.
